Djoré Nance, actor, singer, and musician who most recently starred as Langston Hughes in Carlyle Brown’s Are You Now, Or Have You Ever Been at Stage West, and in several episodes of the HBO Series Random Acts Of Flyness. He is committed to activism and social justice and recently performed his oneman show #blandjustice at Dallas’ Black Academy of Arts and Letters. He has performed his music at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, New York City Opera, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and more. He holds a bachelor’s in Jazz Studies from the University of North Texas, an advanced degree in Voice from New York’s Juilliard School, studies at Circle In The Square and Stella Adler Studio of Acting’s Black Arts Theatre Institute. He is a member of Actors’ Equity Association.
